I found this lovely floral antique ladle with such beautiful colours and threw a bowl to team up with it to create a unique piece combining new and old.

The bowl has been glazed inside in this rich gloss Thistle Purple glaze from the Mountain Collection, as a wonderful backdrop for the colourful design of the ladle. The outside of the bowl is unglazed and sanded back to a soft smooth finish, giving the piece a great contrast in texture and colour.

A great table centrepiece and perfect for serving a special meal, this would make a really lovely gift for a special occasion.
